Lucy Lewis, faculty, college bowl members, and Ambassadors of Jefferson State Community College hosted the 2008 ASCA State Tournament. Rosemarie Biship (ASCA President), Claudette Smith (ASCA Miidle School Board Member) and Gloria Griggs (ASCA Middle School Board Member) officiated. We appreciate the moderators and scoring team for their outstanding performance, and we thank the worthy competitors for their good sportsmanship. We extend a special congratulations to Andy Knowles who finished first on the All-State Team! Best wishes to all seniors as they prepare to leave high school behind. ASCA congratulates our four winners, and wishes our State champion, Hoover High School, well as they go to represent Alabama at the Panasonic Tournament in Orlando.
