Regional and National Tournaments

Vanderbilt College Bowl hosts a general Friday-Saturday tournament open to all in both the Fall and Spring of each year. Usually, about 100 schools attend.

The ASCN tournament is a five day event held annually for high school teams that have won a tournament. It provides triple-elimination. The remaining 32 teams play a single-elimination championship.

The Knowledge Master Open is run twice each year for secondary schools and twice each year for elementary schools (grades 4-6). It is open to all schools, and no travel is required as students compete at their computers. P.O. Box 998, Durango, CO 81302; 800-321-9218.

Pace invites teams that have come in first or second at any tournament to apply for an invitation to the National Scholastics Championship each June.   Automatic invitations are available for teams that win or finish second in tournaments affiliated with the Partnership for Academic Competition Excellence (PACE).
